Simon Belmont is from Castlevania for the Nintendo Entertainment System. He was included in the original version of Super Mario Bros. Crossover.
Controls
- Arrows - move left or right; press down to duck.
- Jump (Z) - press while on the ground to jump; press once while in the air to double jump
- Attack (X) - swing whip; if classic special is turned on, press Up + Attack to use your special weapon
- Special (C) - throw special weapon (requires hearts)
- Select (A) - throws second special weapon (requires fire power in classic power-up mode)
Gameplay Notes
- Simon's special weapons cost hearts
- Hearts can be found by killing enemies or hitting blocks
- The classic simon cheat can be enabled to make Simon play like he does in Castlevania. Enabling it removes his ability to change direction in the air.
- Simon cannot break bricks by jumping into them
- Simon's armor-piercing weapon is holy water
