Request General Playable Villain Discussion

    This is where you discuss villain characters that might be playable in SMBC.
    Here's my personal suggestion if a villain ever made it on to the playlist
    Metal Man

    Metal man is one of the most iconic Robot masters in the series, and makes a fighter. Here is how i think his moves would break down

    Normal: Metal Blade can only fire forward, only has half the normal maximum for blade on screen
    Mushroom: The blade now has the normal maximum and can fire up,down, left, and right.
    fire flower: gains a charged attack, which would send one blade in every direction simultaneously

    World 1-1 Level 6: Lakitu

    Bowser. He walks, he jumps, and he has special techniques (hammers and fire balls).
    There's even a group here.

    The fandom is already over-saturated with love for Metal Man. I'd much rather see a more unique robot master. Also remember that they would have to have walking animations, jumping animations, etc.

    Villan: Bomb man
    and i say Bomb Man because, who wouldnt want to play as bombman...he's ready to party.

    King dedede,
    normal- mallet attack
    mushroom-mallet stronger, suction for special.
    fire flower-mallet same, stronger suction, dedede bomb (up special)

    What about Bowser Jr. for SMBC? Do you think he must be the boss or the character? Here some sprites:

    That sprite sheet doesn't look as useful as Anter's.
    Looks like those would be if he was a boss.
    But Anter is talking about making him PLAYABLE, not as a bowser clone.
    I was pretty sure that he was going to make his own game....

    Okay. But we may use Shadow Mario sprites as Star Man.

    If we sprited an 8-bit Ganondorf, we could give him a moveset based on Brawl.
    It's really fun to play as him.

    Here are my Robot Master Ideas:
    Fire Man: Normal: Can fire normal flames, 1 or 2 per time.
    Mushroom: Can charge to shoot bigger flames, (like megaman's fire flower power).
    Fire Flower: Can still charge, but have the fire spin around him.

    Elec Man: Normal: Can shoot an electric shot only horizontally.
    Mushroom: Can charge an electric shot, that is more powerful, but is still horizontally
    Fire Flower: Shoot a 3 way electrical shot charged and uncharged.

    Metal Man: Normal: Can shoot only 1 metal blade per time,and they only go to half of the screen.
    Mushroom: Can shoot 2 metal blades per time, go to three quarters of the screen. They can now break bricks.
    Fire flower: Can shoot 3 metal blades per time, go through the entire screen.

    Quick Man: Normal: Can shoot 2 boomerangs per time. Go only to half of the screen.
    Mushroom: Can shoot 3 boomerangs per time, go to three quarters of the screen. They now can break bricks. And what would be cool is that he could use the Rolling Cutter as a special attack
    Fire Flower: Can shoot 5 boomerangs per time, distance don't change.

    Needle Man: Normal: Can shoot 1 needle per time.
    Mushroom: Can shoot 2 needles per time, they can now break bricks and Needle Man can use his Spikes on his head as a special attack.
    Fire flower: Can shoot 3 needles per time.

    Shadow Man: I think that he should have Metal Man's moveset, but that the blades should go a bit less further but that they can come back like a boomerang.

    A few words on Robot Masters and related stuff.

    Elecman is surprisingly underrated in here he is one of my favorite robot masters.
    I would suggest Bubbleman but he may work better as a skin.
    Cutman would be a nice touch, but his moves are pretty bare-bones.
    Hard Man would be OP.
    Also, in light of Luigi, maybe Bass could get up in this, and play like how he did in MM10.
    Just for the sake of giving everyone an alternate with minor changes. Because I hope that's a thing now.
    Metalman is too busy being rusted by all the saliva he has accumulated from the fandom.
    Quickman worries me the way Sonic Boll would worry me if you started out super fast and had projectiles. In other words OP.

    I think that the first playable villian would and should be Bowser but I want Metalman a lot more.
