Use an image editor like GIMP, Photoshop, Paint.NET, etc.

Things like Paint can't do transparency at all.

Just so people know, it's not the end of the world if someone can't manage to add transparency. It is helpful, but as long as the background color is not used elsewhere in the image, it's okay. It is easy enough for us to take care of the transparency.

What do you mean your computer doesn't accept them?

    I see.

Well, in a pinch many members here don't mind doing transparency for you.

    I usually use ezimba.com. It's pretty simple.

The one problem I occasionally have is that it fails to load my image. When that happens, I just select and copy the whole image and paste it into a new file, and then it works for some reason.
