I suppose turning enemies into eggs and standing on top of them would be cool. Also hitting them again would fling them off screen.

Well, I do like the Eggerland series, and the only games in it released in the U.S. were on the NES. But Lolo can't really do anything apart from walking and shooting. I mean, what would his power-ups do?

I think if Jay wanted to be creative they could have some abilities from they're appearances in the Kirby series like...

Basic: Start off with no abilities basically playing as if like Mario only the size of Link of course. I'm being creative here but push koopa shells like blocks and attack and forward to kick it. Use a koopa shell as a platform.

Mushroom: Summon a block with attack button and push it. Attack and forward still being creative could slide it across the screen much like a koopa shell when kicked. Pick up heart frames for shot weapons traditionally from Lolo.

Flower: Summon a Gordo the spiky bad guys he used them in Kirby Super Star Ultra on DS to attack Kirby when fighting Lololo and Lalala's Revenge in Revenge of the King. The Gordos would work like a block would.

Well heres how it would be. Adventures of Lolo 3 allows you to switch between Lolo and Lala. So basically here is how it would go:

You first start off with Lolo only. If you hit a block the first time where there would normally be a Mushroom for Mario would be a heart for Lolo. This will enable you to shoot enemies, turn them into eggs and push them across the screen. Hit another block and instead of a Fire Flower, you will rescue Lala. Basically, you may then switch between Lolo and Lala.

Here is how it will work once you obtain Lolo and Lala:

Press C to switch between Lolo and Lala. If one gets hit that one will loose shooting ability. However, if you press C you can switch to the other character which can still shoot. If either Lolo or Lala dies, you can still use the remaining character who didn't die. Basically, its like having more hits as there are two characters you are using as one. :) It would be almost the way Donkey Kong Country is set up.

Oh and remember, when you first get Lala, if you want her to be powered up and in reserve you would switch to her and get a heart power up so if you switch back to Lolo and he dies, you can use a fully powered up Lala who can then rescue Lolo without having to get a Heart Power up before doing so. This can basically apply either way as well.

Another thing is that if you fall into a pit with one character, that character will die and the other one will be waiting on the closest ledge nearby where you died with the other character ready to continue playing with.

Oh yes and here would be the musics:

Okay, this is sounding way too complicated. Nice music choices, though. The castle one sounds a little too cheery, but you'd be hard-pressed to find music that isn't cheery in an Eggerland game.

How about this Boss music for the castle:

We can simplify things ok? How about this:

Hammer: You are able to break blocks as Mario can when he is large. (Note: The Hammer item in Lolo allows you to break blocks)

Heart = Lolo can shoot, turn enemies into eggs and push them across the screen.

How is that? Basically Lolo functions as Mario does without getting large and with the added egg shooter instead of fireballs.

That is better Castle music, yes.
I don't know . . . I still don't think Lolo is very well-suited to SMBC, much as I like him. Maybe someone can convince me otherwise.

Well I still think my idea might work.

I think the switching out idea is a great idea for Lolo and Lala. There's a couple things we'll have to consider; some flashing invincibility frames when one or the other dies and automatically switches out, so that they both don't die from touching the same enemy or obstacle; this leads me to my next point..

If Lolo or Lala falls into a pit, should both characters automatically die, or should the other respawn in the last place they were standing (excluding moving platforms) before they fell?

Well actually I described it as a system like Donkey Kong Country. I think I made a mistake. In Donkey Kong Country when one character falls down a pit they both die. I would assume thats the way it would probably be for Lolo and Lala. Especially if one is following behind the other one.
