Try coding graphical application of skinsheet sprites, in a game, yourself. Then you can talk about how it's "just" shifting.

Additionally, please keep your posts constructive. If you've got no actual content to share, please refrain from posting.

Well, shouldn't the skins be proper for once?

This is the Poison Mushroom from SMBDX.

This is the Poison Mushroom Jay used.
He doesn't know ANY color-blind people, so... yep.

Technically, the normal black and brown one is proper. That being said, I have actually changed the Poison Mushroom graphic to match the one from SMBDX, though I used the normal Poison Mushroom colors, since the green and pink isn't actually a proper palette in the NES SMB or SMB:LL.

So isn't the Red coin palette.

The red coins also use a palette that's exclusive to SMBDX. SMBC is based on the NES version of SMB, though, so the colors have to match the NES version's colors.

I guess that could be good.

    Why must you always disappoint?

Let's just end this with an SMB Deluxe Map Skin.

    EDIT: Done.

Also included all level palettes from the game. The objects are there too, as well Mario/Luigi (When flashing, the colors aren't depended on the level colors in this game)

I know it's too much, but I really want this map skins colors to be as accurate as possible. (You'll probably thank me later, sbq92).
NOTE: In this game, LL 9-1 to D-4 and their bonuses are very buggy/unfinished.

With regards to the Poison Mushroom issue, I think that the best thing would be to use the SMBDX design with colors from the original Fire Flower palette, since the Poison Mushroom and Fire Flower appear to share colors in SMBDX. Since SMB:LL used a different design for Mushrooms than SMB, I suppose the SMBDX design (which is based on the SMB design) would be more "faithful". But it's definitely a good idea to use a palette that matches the rest of the graphics.

Of course, if the SMB:LL Map Skin makes it in (and I hope it does), that would obviously be the place to use the SMB:LL design and colors.

I think the best would be this:
Have the NES map skin use the current poison mushroom, as it's what it would appear there. Then, have the LL map skin use the Lost Levels, and have an SMBDX based skin using the SMBDX poison mushroom.

I still think it would be best for the wavy liquids to be included in the NES skin.

I disagree. I think it should be made for the DX map only for accuracy.

Those stages look pretty good! I hope someone makes a Super Boy II map pack whenever a Level Creator gets made. :p Oh, and nice map skin, btw. We need to get the MSX represented in the game somehow.
