Ryu Hayabusa, from Ninja Gaiden, is a playable character in Super Mario Bros. Crossover.
You know, I think he should have 1 hit kill as his slash did in NG.
Weapon strength system.
But that's not balance, that's a cheat
It's in the "more settings" menu, not the cheats menu.
So you understand, if one selects a stronger attack setting, every character gets strong attacks and ninja's one step behind
It's just a couple shots less, no big deal. Ryu's still playable and definitely not worse than the other characters.
Besides, some form of balance is required so he isn't completely cheap.
You probably just suck if this is a legitimate complaint
That's because Ryu is still goddamn strong, fast at attacks and has projectiles in times of need.
That was completely uncalled for.
Personally, I think that being able to destroy projectiles is what would help Ryu most, but that would require revamping the object system.
I ask that you refrain from insulting mindlessly other members.
As for Ryu being weak:
Looks fine to me.
I think Ryu's wall-climb alone is one huge advantage he has over other characters, and itself justifies slightly less capable attacks.
Maybe his firepower and attacks are not as good, but he is able to maneuver around things better?
But then there's Sophia who has even better mobility and attacks
But you have to earn both of them. Ryu has his mobility from the getgo.
This is definitely a must for Ryu and Simon, especially when you think about the Hard versions of all the levels.
"But you have to earn both of them. Ryu has his mobility from the getgo."
Oh yeah that's right
