    VS already basically answered, but...

    Yes, it is a tinkerbat, the minions of Risky Boots, the main antagonist of Shantae. I posted an earlier version of the skin specifying a while back; since I'd already posted a version I didn't feel the need to clarify who it is this time.

    If you play Shantae on GBA, you can get an ability that turns you into a tinkerbat. Nearly every frame here is from that transformation, so technically this is Shantae in tinkerbat form. But I'm saying it's just a generic tinkerbat.

    I would recommend that you switch Pike Balls and Storm Puffs. You can get Windmill Shurikens to orbit you sort of like Pike Balls, and the Storm Puff has a variant in Risky's Revenge that sits on the ground and explodes, which I feel is a little more like the Fireball Jutsu.

    That's an excellent point. I feel the storm puff's animation works better as the windmill shuriken, just for the record, but you make a really great point so I fixed it.

    I also noticed that a) I didn't finish touching up the portrait (derp) and b) I never put in the ammo pickups.

    The ammo pickups are gems. Currency in the game, but...I guess it makes sense?

    It actually works with the scroll, which I don't think I ever explained; it's the Greedy Jar, which makes enemies drop more gems.

    EDIT: I also just did a very minor alteration to the spin attack. I just changed the end of the slash so that it looks a little more natural.

    Cecilia in FE: Gaiden may be better than Alm, as she's female and Alm looks too much like Marth.

    Well I mean, I didn't just sit down and go "let's leave one of his eyes out of the frame for funsies".

    But yeah, I liked the portrait like that since I wanted to include some of the body and arm. It just happened to end up pushing one of the eyes out.

    I'd like to try and see if I can make a 16-bit Marth (from Mystery of the Emblem) first, though.

    I like how this one turned out. :)
    Jagen's horse didn't fit, but luckily he can dismount in this game! How convenient!
    So, thoughts?

    Looks great. Ryu is in need of some skins. I hope Marth can be added without having to worry about the skin alignment problem Sbq92 mentioned. I'm looking forward to seeing Celica.

    Also there aren't any jump sprites in the SNES sheet you used, either ?

    Yeah, I see what you mean. :p I'll see what I can do about the arms.
    And no, it didn't. I decided to use the running sprites again for consistency.

    Regarding Bonk:
    Always break bricks with head
    Always stomp enemies (How many jumping sprites are there? It appears to be one which may cause a problem with the illusion of him hitting enemies with his head)
    Shuriken: Smiley Shuriken from Super Bonk 2
    Windmill Shuriken: Drill from Super Bonk 2
    Not sure about other powerups.
