I thought the point of a game was fun, not button mashing.
That's my complaint about every fighting game ever made. If Ryu/Ken got in, he'd at least have ranged options.
What is? Them being not fun because they're about mashing buttons? Oo
Fighter games aren't about mashing buttons because the opponent have around the same options as you.
But if you implement one of those 1VS1 fighter games, their movements aren't adapted to move in a platformer environement at all.
Alright, then. If Ryu is included, he has 2 main specials: the Hadouken and the Shoryuken. The Hadouken is useful because it's a projectile. As for the Shoryuken, well...
I just want to point out that Missingno's list of platformer Zelda games included Link's Awakening.
Link's Awakening wasn't a platformer.
Anyway, carry on.
Alright, looking into it more, I just kinda assumed it off of memory of Goombas that I thought there were proper platformer moments. But oh well, I've never been able to get that far in the game anyway.
There are some platformer rooms in the The Legend of Zelda Game Boy games. But you had to equip at least the Roc Feather to jump.
