Request Skin-specific SFX / 16-bit SFX

    Personally I always wanted to hear CV4 Simon's "OH!" every time he gets hit, and now that Richter will be in his "UGH!" could be in too. :p The whips sound much better too. And... yeah every character could use their proper sound effects. This is a feature i'd like to see implemented someday. :)

    I think i had a similar request in the past. Can't find my thread, though.

    If we can have fitting music, why can't we have fitting sounds too? :)

    speaking of sound effects and i know im going to sound like a total dork saying this. Megaman 1,2,9 and 10 had a different jump sound effect than MM 3,4,5 and 6. Currently the Megaman characters use the jump sound effect from 3,4,5,6 and i was hoping that could be changed to the 1,2,9,and 10 sound effect.It just sounds better imo
    i know this post is really pointless and confusing lol.

    No, not that much.
    I didn't know about the different jump sound effects myself. I'm pretty sure that the ER developpers made the choice of using the one they're using.

    This may look like a minor request. But then again, skin-specific music was not a great priority back in 2.0, and they actually implemented.
    This will just add to the originality of each skin as a character in their own. ;)

    Just something I hastily threw together with bandicam and some random video editor, so please excuse the video quality. The sound effects are still in-tact though.

    Speaking of, the differences go well beyond just the landing from a jump sound.. so I included a bunch of those as well.

    Very good points. If they want to be really ambitious, all the different MM skins could have different sounds from the different games.

    Agreed, non-matching sound effects throws you right out of the game.

    Never knew there were more differences in the sound effects other than the landing . Thanks for posting that video ThomasMink.

    I'm having a hard time deciding which ones I like better. It seems like the 3-6 ones seem to be mostly higher-pitched, and in some cases a bit squeaky, so that's something.

    There are slight differences between Mega Man's sprites in the different games too, and I believe SMBC uses the ones from Mega Man 9 & 10, so we should probably use the matching sound effects.

    How come all the clips are repeated three times?

    I repeated them so you can better hear the sound and remember it before hearing the other version.

    Guess I really didn't need to repeat the jumping and shooting clips, but meh.
