Request Skull Man skin gameplay differences

    Mitewing Level 9: Spike Top

    I'm usually good at coming up for suggestions for RM skin differences. However, Skull Man has me mostly stumped. The only thing I can suggest is that his Skull Barrier AKA Water Shield has unlimited ammo. To balance this advantage, it would do less damage. Anyone else have any better ideas?

    I'm not talking about projectiles from the buster. I'm talking about the number of orbs in the Water Shield. I thought that's what you were talking about.

    No it's not the same thing at all. If an ER team member can confirm the Water Shield orbs can be removed easily, then we can discuss it further. Until then, other ideas need to be explored.

    You obviously don't have a single clue about how the coding works, so how about you stop saying stuff like that about something you don't even know about?

    Edit 2: I think your idea is best, at least without it being hard to code (as far as we know). Maybe he could walk slower?

    How about:

    • Can't shoot straight up, only diagonally
    • Bullets go through walls
    • Bullets do more damage
    • Does not rapid fire

    Honestly I really don't think the special weapons need to be changed beyond appearance.
    So far, none of the skins actually do that. There's a good reason for that too, because each NES game (and 9 and 10) have a weapon representing them.
    Wouldn't be right if one game got two weapons, would it?

    rush coil doesn't count

    Good ideas. He would play very similar to MM minus the diagonal shooting. I'm also trying to think of ideas based on his design and gameplay in MM 4 and any other game he's appeared.

    I'm not quite sure what you're saying, but Screw Crusher isn't from a NES(-style) game unless it's from MM10, in which case MM10 has two weapons.
