    Wow, looking back...the sprites of the biker fucking sucks and I should have done more with the powerups...


    I'll put this one in the "needs to be fixed" file.

    All I was wondering is if the Hover meter resembled the temperature gauge or not.

    Here are some suggestions: Change the font to the standard NES font, Toad can be a fellow biker and the Princess can be the Trophy. As I mentioned before you can make the Hover meter like the Temperature Gauge.

    My gameplay ideas greatly differ from Sophia.

    1. No guns and missiles
    2. Excitebiker can stomp enemies
    3. Hover and Wall 1 are the only available powerups
    4. Hover doesn't actually allow him to hover, only to jump higher and have longer hang time, so it would need some reprogramming

    Awww, I liked the S.S. Dolphin :(

    It really wouldn't be difficult to make both, you'd just have to copy and paste what you already have for it into your finished onion skin.

    God the original sucked so bad...
    -Added animated wheels; it might not look perfect, but it's would look better than being statis.
    -Fixed color issue with the portrait; the outline was slightly blue
    -I was gonna do custom powerups, decided that I would just swap the red and white. I think it looks good.
    -Redid HOV and POW, as well as the numbers with stuff from ExciteBike.
    -HOV meter is now red and turns green, like the Temp meter
    -Toad was going to be one of the guys from when a race ends, but they're ugly as fuck, so I copied the sprite I made for the biker off his bike and put on the palette of the other racers. Peach is a trophy.
    -Touched up swimming and climbing sprites for the Biker.

    Maybe you could have Olimar piloting the SS Dolphin, but a Pikmin piloting the Onion?

    you may want to pay more attention to what little Yoshi is supposed to be doing. The ducking/swimming sprites are all wrong on your skin.

    I mean a lot of sprite game used dodging, but I have to agree in general, dodging doesn't belong on this sheet.

    Awesome job. The only thing I would change is switch the colors on the Hover meter. It should change to red the more you use. If this ever added, they MUST add the Excitebike sound effects!

    Speaking of which, there's a Japan only SNES sequel featuring Mario characters. Perhaps a 16bit version can be made if someone is willing.
