    The Master of Blasters. Level 2: Koopa

    Sophia J7 is from blasting again. (And is quite frankly my least favorite sophia because a: it is asymetrical and b: the front tires are bigger then the back.)

    -Added a small orange segment to one of the sprites; this should ideally prevent the condor from looking bisected when climbing on a corner, but obviously I have no way to test it.
    -Did portrait.

    I would have done the climbing, crawling, and swimming sprites, but I don't feel like working on it right now. Not a whole lot of changes I guess but I just wanted to show I'm still gonna finish this.

    While this skin is really weird, I quite like the idea. I'll talk to Jay and see if there's a way to get it to function properly. :)

    I think this skin here i made was equally better than my U.F.O. Kirby skin. Riiight here.

    Lubba from Super Mario Galaxy 2, riding in Starship Mario. I think i have alot of changes.




    • SOPHIA'S body is replaced by Starship Mario. Jason is replaced by Lubba.
    • SOPHIA'S wheels, like my U.F.O. Kirby skin, are completely invisible.
    • Left powerup icons alone, but recolored them purple.
    • Left small explosion sprites alone, but recolored them completely white.
    • The big red explosion is replaced by the "BOMB" text in SMB2.
    • All shots are replaced by fire, from SMB2.
    • The missle is replaced by a recolored Phanto, from SMB2.
    • Some powerup sprites are ? blocks (i was lazy with that, and i mean REALLY lazy)
    • Hover Module powerup is replaced by SMB2's Magic Ball with an F on it, standing for "Float".
    • "HOV" is replaced by "FLO", and the letters are redid.
    • "POW" is unchanged, but redid to match the "FLO" sprites.
    • Lightning bolts are redid. Again, i was lazy while editing it.
    • Added shading to some sprites, including the portrait.
    • Recolored the meter. Top is green, Middle is blue, Bottom is yellow and Very Bottom is red.
    • The numbers are not changed.
    • The portrait is Lubba himself.

    Changes:
    • Removed the shadings from some sprites.
    • Colored the meter darker, except for the yellow part.
    • Made the Faceship a little rounder.
    • Reverted the inverted ? Blocks.
    That's about it. FOR REAL. :bassdash:

    Your Kirby skin pack was pretty good for the most part, but this is just hideous. You probably shouldn't try to make your own sprites from scratch.

    Not to say the skin couldn't use a hefty amount of work, but you could at least give ADVICE.

    At a glance, the Faceship needs to be more rounded. It's not an octagon.

    Here's a weird one: A Bot that looks like Dorophie and Bomberman.

    • SOPHIA'S body is Dorophie. SOPHIA'S wheels are invisible. Jason is Bomberman.
    • The explosions are inverted.
    • The shots are green lasers. They have to come out of Dorophie's eyes.
    • The missles are recolored blue. Again, they need to come out of Dorophie's eyes.
    • Redid Hover Module meter.
    • Portrait is Bomberman himself.

    Kind of an odd combination (unless there was a crossover I don't know about), but it's a pretty good skin. When you're using sprites that are already made, you seem to do pretty well.

    Right . . . except for that. It's especially bad with Doropie, given her black hair.
    Skin template background colors are REALLY IMPORTANT and something you can't just ignore. Use transparent if possible, and a color that doesn't appear in the sprites anywhere if not.

    Yes, please start using proper background colors. Black or white backgrounds are a huge pain for those who have to work with the sheets (i.e., Zach and me).

    It's cool, but here's a confusion:
    When i have a closeupon the thumbnail and the normal post, there was the new portrait. If i saw it in Paint, you can see a early one of it.
    Did you do that on purpouse?

    This doesn't make any sense; the image you download is the image. There's no way to secretly embed an older version of the image that becomes the image when it's downloaded.
    I'm going to try downloading it and opening it in Paint though to see what you're talking about.

    Yeah, it looks fine. What might be happening is this: see, Paint is retarded as fuck, because Microsoft can't seem to understand how to make transparency work (or they simply chose not to add that function, which is equally stupid), so whenever transparent layers are loaded into Paint, it simply shows them as white. The sprite sheet uses a lot of white, so a lot of the sprites are going to look incomplete or, as you put it, they would look like earlier versions.
