Official Sophia Skins

    I've actually seen weird things like remnants of the old image in people's images before. It will appear normal on the site, but when I download it and open up the image, it has weird things throughout it. It doesn't look like the person simply forgot to edit those parts out, because it's so clear that they are there that no one could miss it. It looks like an actual weird glitch. I don't know the cause of it, but maybe that's what's going on here.

    Double post because this is important.

    Most of the characters have lots of skins to choose from, but SOPHIA needs a lot more. There are other Blaster Master games that SOPHIA could be edited and modeled after, so have some fun with it!

    I say a skin of Sophia that could be made could be a Yoshi Car.

    Mostly Yoshi because you have to make the Jason sprites,it will be odd for Mario in his Kart and Mario jumping out of Mario in his Kart. Yoshi Car makes more sense.

    I dont think Sophia skins will get plentiful until Jason is playable.

    Yes, that is SOPHIA as a Tetris block.

    -Replaced body with a T block
    -Replaced wheels with a piece of an S block
    -Replaced shots with a piece of an L block; the upgraded cannon shoots two pieces
    -Replaced missiles with a piece of a Z block
    -Made custom death animations that revolve around disintegration/exploding
    -Replaced energy meter with an I block
    -Jason has a fourth of an O block for a head now
    -Made a bunch of stuff pink (including the Tetris blocks, which were grayscale when I downloaded them) cause I thought it would look better. I guess I could make it any color, or even the color the blocks got when you plugged the cartridge into a Gameboy Color (I used the sprites from the classic GB Tetris), but the latter took too much work and making it the same color as SOPHIA just kinda made sense

    Delightful.
    Though I would be up for someone (not you, uglyrodent. You're done enough) trying the Game Boy Color idea to see how it looks. Pink does look good, though.

    So I also went ahead and finished the last few sprites for this.

    Why are all the SOPHIA skins really fuckin' weird?

    I still think the LANDMASTAH is a good idea. Maybe make it Slippy instead of Jason, so Fox is still free for Megaman or something.

    SOPHIA is two blocks wide and one block tall. There are like no characters like that, so you have to get creative with it :p

    Also why not Falco? Slippy is goddamn annoying. Landmaster would be pretty great though no matter who's driving it.

    Because he's in Starfox? (the team, not the game, although he's in the game too).

    I mean he rides it in Smash Bros. I never really played past the first Starfox though, so I dunno if he does ride it or not.

    Wheeeeeee double posting because this is unrelated to the last post.

    -Took out all the wheels because they're on the bike and don't animate
    -Gonna replace Jason with the rider...eventually
    -Left many elements the same, but made them red (except the lightning, which is now the same color as the trophy from Excitebike)
    -Probably gonna do the same with the powerups, but I haven't decided yet
    -shots come out of the front of the bike

    EDIT: I uploaded a slightly newer one.
    -Made several elements white and/or red
    -Didn't mean to change HOV and POW, fixed it but not gonna go to the trouble of reuploading it.
    -Fire just comes out of the wheels, by the way, when you hover. It's a superbike.

    Because SOPHIA is a weird and complex sprite, so it's hard to find things that would fit well.

    Falco is more of an arwing pilot (makes sense, since it's a bird).
    Slippy is probably more about the submarine,
    Peppy about the Land Master.
    Fox is the boss.

    Hmm . . . I don't recall Peppy ever being associated with the Land Master.

    Pac-Man riding a squared tank. AW YEAH.
    • Jason is Pac-Man. He is the rider of this tank.
    • The bullets are the big balls Pac-Man eats-- the upgraded bullets are two of them
    • Left some elments alone, but did recolor them
    • Powerups are the various fruits and veggies found as bonuses in the orginal game.
    • Missles are the strawberries that were orginally also found as bonuses
    And that's it. :) :sophia:
