I agree because he is working hard on it and to be honest it looks amazing.
If it were to be accurate to the game, most of the enemies wouldn't fit in the box.
I thought the problem was the enemies were too SMALL, not too big.
Think about the Fly in SML. With pixels being the same size, it's around the same size as a standard SMB Goomba. That would make it twice the size of Goombo, which wouldn't fit in the Fighter Fly's box at all.
FYI, this has been placed on the Wiki without being finished.
Really? I didn't see it. Honest.
Yeah, the enemy skins still aren't finished. I didn't realize it until I was looking on the page at the Mario Arcade skin where someone editing it and I was giving my suggestions.
It should be finished up before it goes on the wiki
Why can't you just make the pizels smaller, like the 32 bit sprites?
Because this looks so great, doesn't it?
I LIKE IT
I could get used to it.
You, maybe. Those who pay attention, though, will find this incredibly jarring.
I find it more annoying that they changed the color of Mario's hat from white to dark gray when the Game Boy filter is on in the Super Mario Land 2 skin. His hat and shirt should be white...
But still, minor mistakes happen. I'd rather use the original sprites. But that's just me.
the gb filter is just that
the sprites in the files are coloured
what did you expect
Mario having a white hat like in the game.
... It's a filter. Not new sprites.
Hey there everyone this is my take on the enemy sheet:
While the Lakitu replacement may look like a certain merchandising device from a certain series of CGI animated films, it's actually supposed to be Roketon.
Also I freely admit that I don't know how Totomesu (the sphinx) will look when animated and it may well end up being a mess.
So what do you think? Should I do the rest or give up?
What are you going to use for the False Bowser?
To be honest I started working on this about a week ago and it took me until today to realize that the template on the wiki's templates page hasn't been updated to include False Bowser. Now that I've thought about it, I could have Tatanga as the real Bowser and Totomesu as false Bowser. I guess it'd work, since while Tatanga isn't supposed to be a grounded enemy, neither is Death, and he worked.
