Request Zero Suit Samus gameplay differences

    Mitewing Level 9: Spike Top

    I thought of this the other day. I am considering all appearances of the Zero Suit including the SSB series.

    Here is my list:
    1. No Morph Ball/Bombs
    2. Higher Jump and/or Double Jump (Mainly inspired by SSBWU/3DS)
    3. Short and Long beams stun enemies and deal less damage.
    4. Faster running speed except in water, where she becomes actually slower.
    5. Varia Suit Powerup is changed to Gravity Suit, which allows better mobility in water.

    2 and 5 are kind of unnecessary, and 3 defeats the purpose of the Ice Beam.
    And she really should still have the Morph Ball because her secondary form of motion is crawling, which is what the Morph Ball was made for.

    Good point about the crawling. Different sprites would need to be made to replace the current ones. The Paralyzer is different from the Ice Beam in that Samus can't stand on stunned enemies. While the Ice Beam does some damage, maybe the Paralyzer should do even less.

    The reason I wanted to change the Varia Suit is because I don't think Zero Suit Samus would be able to get protection from heat, plus the extra running speed would make up for the lack of it.

    EDIT: Also the higher/double jump is because of her increased agility.

    Except no other sprite would fit in the box.
    Except in-game, the Paralyzer does no damage. It's just an escape maneuver.

    Then she shouldn't have a Morph Ball if that's the case and the Paralyzer should do no damage either.
